Chofetz Chaim

The Chofetz Chaim, Rabbi Yisrael Meir Kagan zt”l, known the world over for his landmark work on shmiras halashon, guarding one's speech. He led the yeshiva in Radin and wrote the sefer Chofetz Chaim, which gave the laws of guarding one's speech their name.
