The Satmar Rebbe, Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum zt”l (רבי יואל טייטלבוים מסאטמאר), founder of the Satmar chassidus and one of the towering chassidishe leaders of the last century. After the war he rebuilt the Satmar community in Williamsburg, New York.
